Planning Bespoke Wardrobes & Dressing Rooms

The best wardrobe is planned from the inside out: hanging space, drawers, shelves, mirrors and circulation.

The visual style of a wardrobe matters, but the internal organisation usually determines how well it works every day.

Separate hanging zones for different garment lengths, define drawer sizes, allow space for seasonal items and decide where bags, shoes or luggage will be stored. The room itself influences door choice and circulation, especially where a wardrobe sits close to a bed or narrow passage.

Mirrors can add function and visual depth, while integrated lighting may require electrical preparation before installation. Bespoke production is particularly useful where columns, niches or unusual wall dimensions make standard furniture inefficient.

ERC can coordinate wardrobes with bedroom headboards, bedside units, wall panels and other fixed furniture so the room is treated as one project rather than a collection of unrelated items.
